Funny!! Dad's Letter June 30, 2008

Hey Dad, 6/30/08

So I just finished emailing you, but I thought I’d write you again I thought I would tell you a little about Loli and her really weird birds and the other Loli and her Dog.

Okay, so Loli Fernandez has cancer and just got an operation so we go and visit her at her house. It cheers her up. She’s a member, but hasn’t been able to go because of her cancer. She had told us, before she went back home that she had a pigeon she took care of with a broken wing. I think she said it flew through the window. Well, once she went home, we visited her at her house and suddenly, while we are sitting there talking, we here all this commotion. Then in walks the most pathetic bird I have ever seen. It has no toes on one foot, only half on the other and it’s wing just dragged on the floor. Ha ha,. Poor thing. She lets it roam around the house freely which is kind of gross. She has a really fat and ugly cat too, but apparently, it doesn’t try to eat the pigeon. Loli also has a little yellow bird in a cage. I don’t know what’s wrong with it because I couldn’t understand what Loli was saying, but it stands on one foot. It has two, but because of whatever is wrong with it, it tucks it’s other leg up in it’s feathers so you can’t even tell he has a leg. It makes me laugh. It’s kind of a sad little group of animals living there. Ha ha. I really want to take a picture of the pigeon for you.

The other day we were visiting the other Loli who has a really hyper, annoying little dog. We were sitting on the couch and the dog started begging me to play with it. So I grabbed it’s toy and I played a little tug-of-war with it. - - It totally fell off the couch. It was so funny. I don’t know what happened. One minute it was there, and the next it was gone. Ha ha. It was really funny.
