Hey Family!!!!
I can´t believe Madi is in the air right now!!! Crazy huh. I can't wait to hear how everything goes for her. I am excited to hear about her companion too. I wonder if she will be from South America or if she´ll be American. Madi is going to love the field.
I am so glad you got my package!!! I was so worried it wouldn´t get to you. I felt bad though. I have to find some cooler things to get the boys. They can plan on getting some Spanish money though.
Did Hayley get her birthday card? I hope she gets it soon. And Dad´s is on it´s way. and Dallin´s will be on it´s way today. Haha. So many birthdays.
So how was Hayley´s birthday. I want some of...hey, we had homemade pizza on her birthday too. Haha. It was yummy. A member made it for us. 4 types of fancy cheeses and a little bit of ham. Soooo good. I can´t believe she is 18!! She is so dang cute. I love that girl!!
Did dad find his pin in the little black bag? I am trying to decide what to bring you guys home from Spain. I want to give you something nice to put in the house. I have a couple other things in mind. I just have to find them.
I love my little Sin Verguenza. He´s so dang cute. Tell him I like warm water too.
I still haven´t gotten my cd but i bet I will today. I am excited to listen to those talks.
Ok, I have to tell you a story. haha. So we taught this woman the other day. She´s older and has like a 40 year old handicap son. Well, we are at her house. the son is in his underwear on the chair, big belly hanging out. She is sitting on another chair listening to us. we were teaching the plan of salvation and I asked them what they thought happened to us after we die. We looked at each other, "I don´t know, do you know? We don´t know" So we read alma 40:11-12. As I finished reading the last verse she started applauding us saying "Muy bien hija, muy bien." It was soooo funny. We have been applauding each other all week.
.I can´t believe you guys got a new car! I hope it´s not because one of ours broke. If one of them broke I´m going to guess it was the van, or maybe you just got sick of the van.
Today we went to play soccer and basketball with the zone. I´m getting tired of soccer and basketball. but my comp wanted to go so we went. We went to cadiz last week and we will be going again in 2 weeks with the sevilla zone. We are finally having a zone conference out here for a change. Which is great since i´ll be getting transfered and it will probablly be an expensive trip. but do-able since i don´t have to travel for zone conference.
Things are going well in San Fernando. I really want to find some young people to teach. The future of the church here rests on the shoulders of the youth. which means we need to find youth. So that is what I want to do.
I´m sorry, I feel boring right now. We were in the sun all day and I think my brain is fried. Oh, but i do remember a funny story. There is a TON of wind out here and this week is was especially bad. it was so funny because i noticed this pigeon trying to walk. he was facing forward but the wind was forcing him to drift sideways and sometimes a big gust of wind would come a force the bottom half of his body forward, so it was like a little hop, and he ended facing a new direction. It was cracking me up so bad. I loved watching it. the next day the pigeons didn´t even come out, i think it was just too much for them. haha. i get a lot of joy out of the pigeons. :>
Every wednesday we have a "family home evening" at the church. a group of members come and it´s a great thing to invite investigators too. Well, this week nobody could come...except noemi. SHe was like, Let´s say a prayer right now that people come. so she said a prayer. No one came in the end but i liked her faith. She loves to pray. yesterday we taught her and Hermana Swenson closed with a prayer and Noemi wanted to pray too. so as soon as Hermana swenson said amen, she was like, it´s my turn. I really like her. she is so funny, but she is so sincere which i also like a lot too.
