Hey Mom!!!!!!

I think you are right, I am so glad you want to do the Saturday night thing again. That works out better for me too because then I don´t have to work around my companions schedule. I do have a little bit of bad news though, this time we only have 30 to 40 minutes. :´(. But it´s ok because It won't be that long until I can talk to you all day long if I want. I will go ahead and buy a phone card. I think I will just call from Pepi´s phone. How convenient to live with her. I am so excited to talk to you guys. I want you guys to tell me all about the Talent show again. I was so excited while i was reading about it. It sounds awesome!!!!

So have you looked up what Caracoles means yet. It is what I ate for dinner Saturday night....Elizabeth and Pedro invited 3 members and us and the Elders over for dinner and we ate Snails!!! This isn't just one big snail like on our cruise, we're talking bowls full of them.....It was great!! Don´t worry I got pictures!! I´ll send them to you. These snails were about half the size of the ones on the cruise. You bite down on them and pull them out of their shells... Hermana Swenson HATED them!!! But I have to be honest, in comparison to some of the other things I've had to eat out here, the snails weren't so bad. I ate 2 bowls full. Mostly just because there was a competition to beat Pedro in eating the most. He kicked our trash though. There was still a pot full of snails left and I couldn't eat more than I did. It was a lot grosser later when I started thinking about it more. Like when I went to bed thinking, there are snails in my stomach right now....gross, but not so bad. ha ha.

I'm sorry it took me so long to send your pictures. I think you should be getting them this week! I think you are going to love them. I will know about transfers Saturday night, so I will be able to tell you what happens when I call you guys. fun huh!!

That´s cool Bishop Benson's kid is going to Madrid. I know a few of the missionaries out there. There was a big group going there when I was in the MTC. That´s cool you guys went to Allison Sneddon's wedding. I bet that was fun to see her family. That's cool Scott was Robert's Zone leader. Anyone who goes to Peru is lucky. There are some good people out there.

The Jones have a busy summer ahead of them don´t they? 2 kids getting married!! That´s crazy. And Kristin too. No way, everyone's going to be gone when I get home. And who is the other Morgan Burningham??

You explained that talent show so well. I got chills. I LOVED IT!!!!! I am so glad you taped it!!! I can´t wait to see it! We have such a fun family!!! I love it!!! So do they do this Talent show thing every year now? I love that. How fun!!! I can´t wait to be in the talent show with you next year!!! I love that our family is so musical!! I am so grateful for our family. We are so blessed!!!!

Things are going well here in San Fernando. We have started finding some new people to teach. There is this one lady in particular, her name is Noemi. She is probably like 55 or 60 years old. Really sweet lady. I think she is evangelist. She says Señor about 50 times during her prayers and she, in a very loud voice, said "AMEN SEÑOR" after every testimony or prayer at church yesterday. haha. I loved it!! I also loved that she came to church. It was so great. All the lessons were well prepared and well given and the testimony meeting was the best. There are two handicapped men in our ward. They are brothers who remind me a lot of Bert and Ernie because one is always happy and talks a lot and has a lot of energy and the other is always annoyed at his brother and keeps to himself. I love these guys! They are great. Anyway, Noemi has known them since they were kids. One of them, the quieter one, got up and and bore his testimony about Love. He said that the people in our church have a true love and not a false one. He actually talked for quite a while and he was kind of shaky and nervous. It was really sweet. Noemi turned to me and said, " he never talks." Then she just started to cry and said she was so happy he had found his place there. She said the members are good people. She was so touched and so happy. It was so great!!! I really feel like he got up there for her. She´s right, he never talks. A few short words and then he´s done. Even i was surprised he got up in Sacrament meeting. It was perfect. Our miracle of the day. We actually have a lot of hope for Noemi. I think she could get baptized. She is awesome!!!
