I can´t believe Michael Young comes home so soon. Time has really flown by. And how cool that David Christensen is in the Temple Presidency. I just love that guy. He is such a great guy. I´m glad Katie´s future husband is nice. Do you know where he´s from?
Thanks for forwarding Madi´s email to me. I love hearing about her. It sounds like she is really getting the hang of missionary work. I love her so much. I loved her story about the non-member helping out with the other investigator. I think that is so funny. I love it!!! I hope she loves her new area and companion.
I´m on a diet....it´s time....dang it. I haven't been eating bread or sweets unless we are at someones house and the offer it to us. I think it´s helping. we are also eating less more often. We have a cup of healthy cereal for breakfast and like a granola bar before lunch and sometimes eggs, i usually take out one of the yokes. i think i´ll start taking out both though. I make an omelet with peppers. I love peppers. the other day I ate a whole red pepper raw. loved every bite.
I´m so glad you want to have a star gazing night with Herm. clegg. it´s going to be so fun.
The Ecuadorians are doing well. It's so hard because they don't have a lot of time to see us, but we saw them once this week and they came to church again which is great. Rosa told us she had prayed, wants to get baptized, but wants to be more prepared first. I think once Enrique wants to get baptized they both will. We are also teaching a couple part member families. One is Mercedes. her son is less active and his wife jenny is not a member. Jenny is from Cuba and Mercedes and her son Javi are from Ecuador. he gave us his word that the whole family would come to church next week. I know he meant it, we´ll pray he come through in the end. we are also teaching a cute little family from Venezuela. The mom is an active member who is here visiting. her daughter went in active when she was 9 and her husband Fran is not a member. They are such a great family. He is a doctor. Doctors are pretty cool people. ;) anyway, we´ve taught them 3 times now. the wife came to church today. they talked a lot about the temple, she seems to like the idea of eternal families...who wouldn´t. :) We´ve been finding a lot of great people. I really like Almería. there are a lot of great people here.
I´m glad to hear Rosanne is doing a little better. Poor thing. She is so awesome. I´ll keep praying for her. Thanks for sharing that story with me from Elder Oaks. I really liked it!! that´s really cool. I love Elder Oaks. I didn´t know he went to the MTC while Madi was there. Who else did she get to hear speak?
I´m so excited to get my package. You guys are so fun to send us stuff. You always send great packages too.
Now for the Sopresa, I got a call from President Mellor Last week. He told me we had just gotten a new Hermana in from the north of Spain and that i´d be training her. She came in on Wednesday. Yes, that means i´m in a trio....AGAIN!!! haha, actually i have come to really like trios. i prefer them over regular companionships. My new companion´s name is Hermana Ruiz de Mendoza. She is from a town close to bilbao and has been studying at BYU for the last 2 years. It´s been a really interesting week. We have had a little bit of a hard time getting used to the trio but i still like it a lot. we also might be getting a mini missionary this week. sometimes youth become mini missionaries for a few weeks. they live like missionaries. do everything that they do. President doesn´t know if he wants to let her come or not because she´s only 17. but i think we´ll know today or tomorrow if she´s coming. I think it would be fun. well, i better run. I love you guys so much!!! I hope you have a great week!! thanks again for sending me a package. I can´t wait.
I love you so much!!!!!
Love,
Morgan
