Hey dad!!
I just love ya. I am glad that things are going well for you as the new bishop. And that you are already seeing so many blessings from serving. You are such a great example to me. I am so glad you are my dad. I thought of you a lot yesterday because it was zone conference. I know you love zone conference, that wasn´t even what made me think of you the most though. You know how you were telling me how you always were excited to see the mission president and then only had like a 5 minute interview? Well I had to do residency today just outside of Malaga which is also where the mission home is, so me and another sister got to ride down there with the Mellors. It´s like an hour and a half drive and I really enjoyed it. I´m not gonna lie. It was just fun, we talked about the mission, our families, and anything that would come up in normal conversation, funny things we have noticed about Spain and the people. I asked them how they met and that was funny because Sister Mellor was engaged to someone else when they met. Anyway. It was just really fun. I liked it a lot. They have I think 5 kids. 4 or 5. 2 boys, who served in Brazil and I think somewhere in the states. The others are girls. One is going to school at BYU right now. Hermana Mellor told me earlier that day that one of her sons was probably going to get married and she told me she was going to set him up with me when I got home, but now obviously that wouldn't work out so well. ha ha. Hermana Mellor is really funny. I like her a lot.
This week the work has been going pretty well, the same as usual really. We had 2 investigators at church this week which was really a miracle because these two NEVER can get away from work. One´s boss called and told her she couldn´t work Sundays anymore...yeah, i wish it was always that easy. ha ha. The other, I´m not sure what happened. She lives with these old people she takes care of and I guess they woke up early enough for her to be able to come this week. We were very happy. These are the two from America, Marta and Silvia, who want to get baptized but not until they go home and convert their families first. They are so great!!
Well, I love you so much!! You are so awesome!! Good luck with all the church stuff, it sounds like you guys were super busy this week, but it sounds like it is worth it too. I hope those dumb computers start working for you soon. Dang things. I Love you so much!!! Have a great week! I´ll talk to you soon!I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
Love,
Morgan
Hey Mom!!
It sounds like you had a busy week this week. I bet it was a good and fulfilling one though. I´m sorry that family didn´t come to church. That is such a bummer when that happens. It happens too much I've decided. We are calling people in the morning before church, the night before and also during church, trying to get them to come. People just don´t want to do it. Sometimes we go to their houses to take them to church and they still don´t come, But then again, last time we did that it worked out ok, and Maria Jose came. Then this week she had a really huge spiritual experience and didn´t come to church. We don´t know what to do with her. She is so fun and I think teaching her with her whole family together will help a lot.
So what is the story on this family. Are they members? How many new people have moved into the ward? That is so cool that so many people are moving in. I can´t believe how many things you had to go to this week. It´s crazy. How is Madi liking her class? I bet she is so cute teaching them. How is dad feeling about being bishop? Is he overwhelmed or has he adjusted pretty well. Knowing him he has adjusted really well. He´s so awesome. Sounds like you are adjusting really well too. You are going to know everyone in the ward really well I've decided. I bet it´s fun.
So what´s the news on Hayley? Is she going to be able to keep running? Gall, poor thing, she keeps having so many problems. She just wants to run gosh dang it. :) I love her so much. I have decided she could date Elder Skinner when he gets home. Well, I haven´t completely decided yet. I have to be sure of what kind of missionary he is first. He is really new still and I don´t know him very well. If it turns out well, she is coming with me to the mission reunion whether she wants to or not. Ha ha.
How are things going with Madi? Does she have her papers. Oh, just so you know, I got a letter from you just barely and you asked if I had gotten Grandma and Grandpas package, well I haven´t yet but i think the mail has slowed down a bit. H. clegg is waiting for a package too and has been for a while. so I´m sure it will come soon, it´s just taking it´s time. Tell them thank you so much. I will write them soon.
This week has been really good. We just had zone conference yesterday which is why pday got changed to today. It was really good. I got cookies for my birthday and got sung to along with a bunch of elders so that was fun. I also ate dinner at someone´s house and they made that gross paella that has shells in it. This time I had to eat it. Dang it. It was so gross. I don´t know who invented that but they are not my friend!! It´s very spanish. At least that is something I can tell people about one day. ha ha.
Our investigators are doing about the same. Maria Jose and Cecilia came to our Platos Tipicos Relief Society meeting which was really fun. There are so many countries in my ward that they had a baking contest and everyone brought food from their country. We made banana bread. Cecilia made this yummy rice and took second which was great. She had a great time.
Well, I better run. I love you so much. You are awesome!! I hope you get to rest a little this week. I love you so much, thanks so much for the awesome emails. I love reading them. I am glad everyone is doing well. I love you all. Have a great week!!!
Love ya,
Morgan
