Hey FamilyHow are you all? I´m doing good out here in Málaga! I´m sorry it´s been so long since we have been able to email. we missed the first p-day by a day, then because of zone conference they moved this p-day to thursday so it was kind of crazy. I am glad I finally get to email you guys though.
So Málaga is good!! My comp. is Hermana Schultz. She is from Idaho and Has been out a year. they took the elders out and put the two of us in. which means we´re white washing that means Basically all we have is our area book for references and are both very new to the area. It´s not so bad though. I don´t think Hermana Schultz likes it much but I don´t mind it. I have nothing to compare it too so it´s fine for me.
We have been trying to get to know the members so we can get references from them and we are getting to know less actives and going through past investigators in the area book. we do some contacting on the street too. We have one progressing investigator. his name is Alex and he is from Russia. He actually stopped us on the street and said he wanted to be baptized in a church. So we started teaching him. I´m not sure how it´s going though. He lost his job, doesn´t have a house and one of the members told him to talk to the bishop about that and the bishop bought him food. So we are worried he just wants food. But at the same time, he did come to church and is reading the book of mormon on his own. so i guess we´ll see what happens. Other than him there really isn´t anything too exciting going on. Actually one guy was eating lunch and called us over. He told me in English that the more he gets to know our church the more he thinks we´ve got it right. He said families are falling apart but I guess he really likes that we keep our families together. He didn´t have a lot of time but he said I would love to learn more about your church. So we exchanged phone numbers. I hope all goes well with that.
The people here are very nice. Málaga is much different than Madrid. I think we were in a more well to do area in Madrid. I like malaga though. It´s nice here. We live in an apartment with 2 other hermanas, one of which i knew in the MTC. We were lucky because most of the missionaries live with other people in rented rooms.
President and Sister Mellor are very nice. I love sister mellor. I guess she has emailed you a couple times. I´m glad she´s looking out for me. Well, i´m running out of time. We have to use email time to write the President which, I hate but that´s ok. I can handle it. I love you guys so much. Our real p-day is on mondays so I will be able to tell you more about spain then. Actually on the phone Sunday. Yay!!! Happy mothers day!!!!! I am so excited to talk to you all. I miss you and I love you!!!!
Have a great week!!!
Love Morgan
