I can´t believe it´s august!! I can´t believe how fast time is going. We just got our last Transfer calls. Hermana Nelson is going to Cadiz. the Mini missionary is going home and Get this....McLuckie is my new district leader. Haha. Cool huh!! i was so excited. Um...I think I like McLuckie because he wont make us pray in restaurants. is that bad?...We ate out today with the elders and Elder Barraza who is from Barcelona, made us pray and had his companion say the prayer. Well, not all of our food had gotten there yet and we would have been ok but his companion for some reason, prayed forever! and it was really awkward when the waitress came and we all had our heads down and our arms folded. Haha, wow, I guess i´m used to awkward moments though. whatever. Our district is going to be so much fun. McLuckie the sarcastic, Hilarious Brit. Ruiz de Mendoza, easy to laugh with, Elder Fredrickson who I can´t figure out but seems cool enough, and me. I am very excited. Oh and Elder Lundin is the new AP. cool huh.
I´m so jealous Michael Young lost weight! stupid Olive oil and Bread! I´m working on it! Seriously, instead of sending me anything for my birthday, just sign me up for a round of boot camp. I never thought I would gain so much weight. how embarrassing, can I wait a month to tell people I´m home? haha. Then maybe I´ll loose a bunch of it! haha. Seriously, I hate food! I am planning on bringing you all a caña though. Oh, they´re so good!! I can´t wait for you to try them.
That´s so cool you met Madi´s mission president and his wife. I bet they are pretty cool people.
Wow, last week our companionship was doing great, but let me tell ya, We can´t wait for Wednesday to get here. Because that is when our quartet is finished. I am so excited. One of my companions informed me that she and another are on strike against a 3rd companion...well, lets just say we split up for p-day today. Me with the 3rd companion and we let the two on strike go cool off together. Que Drama! I am sooooo excited for Wednesday. I love them all, but together I think I hate them. haha. But on a happier note, between 2 companionships, we´ve found a ton of new people we could start teaching. We have some very high hopes.
And by the way, What is this Madi was talking about inviting someone to be baptized the first visit? That is definitely not something we talk about doing out here. haha. They are 2 completely different worlds!!! Dad, did you ever invite someone to be baptized on the first visit? Wow. I can´t believe that. That would be sooooo cool! But anyway, as I was saying, we have a lot of hope for this transfer. It´s going to be great!!! Especially because there are only two of us. Haha.
I think the way transfers work, or going home works is, you travel to the mission home on Wednesday and have a dinner with the Mellor´s, i think you do like a testimony meeting and just talk. i´m not sure what else. You have interviews, go to bed, and in the morning you go home. Hermana Lindley goes home mid transfer, I think in 3 weeks. Hermana Earnshaw and Nickolaisen go home on Thursday, and a big group of Elders. I´m not sure where we fly from, we don´t get to go to the temple though. sad, someday we will all go. That would be cool. Actually I keep hearing all the members here saying they are traveling to Utah in September. It sounds like I'm bringing Spain home with me. haha.
Well I better run. Have fun in Saint George. I LOVED the story about the mission fund by the way. I am so excited to eat from the garden. I have really come to love vegetables lately. haha. Tell Madi I have 5 letters on the way for her. haha. I ran out of money for the month. but now I have more. haha. yay mail. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Have a great week!!!!!Take...Luck!!!
