Hey Dad,

This week was zone conference. I loved it. Elder Kopishke from the Seventy was the speaker. He was amazing. He stood about 3 feet in front of me the whole time too because he didn´t use the pulpit. So it was like he was talking directly to me. He is from Germany but speaks really good English. He talked about faith and how it´s a principal of power and how our job is to put our faith in action but the power part is God´s job. It was really good. He also said something really cool at the end. This kid asked him a question about how to help people live the law of chastity and he went into something about Adam and Eve that i really liked. He said, God has the power to create and to destroy, and when Adam and Eve partook of the fruit they really did become like God because now they too had the power to Create and Destroy, But God gave them two commandments, Don´t kill and Don´t create except in families. It was just really cool and I really like it.

I also wanted to tell you thank you so much for my birthday packages!!! That was so much fun to receive those. I can´t wait to open them on my birthday!!! It will be so much fun. You guys are so generous and so thoughtful. you are going to make my birthday in Spain just perfect. Thank you so much!!!!

I also wanted to tell you i have been paying a lot of attention to the stars lately. I can definitely see Jupiter. I can also see the big dipper. and i arced my way down to Arcturus and sped on down to Spica, then the buildings got in the way. It´s really fun to see what i can see up there. I can see the summer triangle too.

I love you so much. I´m sorry my email was a little shorter today than usual. Stupid computers. haha. Have a great time at Education week! I love you so much!!!! Thanks so much again for my birthday packages!!! I love you!!!

Hey mom!!!

Thanks so much for your email. I´m so glad you had such a good time at girls camp. I kind of want to go to that cabin now, it sounds like a blast. I love what dad talked about in the testimony meeting too. I love stuff like that. Those girls are so lucky to have you in there. What a great ward we have! It´s amazing how much they love each other. I´m glad you got my letter with the the pictures from the baptism in it. That building is the church. It´s true that Spain doesn´t seem to like carpet, even in church. It is a little different. No benches, just chairs, tile, and when we had our talent show they just moved the pulpit out and made the front of the chapel into a stage....kind of interesting. I don´t think they would ever do that back home, i guess you just work with what you have. not very many of the churches here have a gym. The only one i have seen is the one by the MTC in Madrid. But everything is nicer there because that´s where the temple is.

Guess what I got this week......!!! MY BIRTHDAY PACKAGES!!!!! They are sitting by my bed, taunting me..... THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I am so excited!!! You guys are so generous!! I just love you!! You are going to make my birthday in Spain just perfect!!! Thank you so much! Guess what else, there is a letter in the mail for you with a ton of pictures and a letter about Concha at church!! I hope you enjoy it.

Today for p-day we went to plaza españa! It´s really cool and apparently they shot some scenes from Star Wars episode 1 there. It will be fun to watch that when i get home. I don´t know anything about the place, it´s just a pretty building, but i liked it. After that we rode the cyclobus...haha, it was fun. It´s this little car with 4 seats and peddles. so we peddled around the park today. haha, it was fun, and I made a 2 minute video for you while we rode it. Yay! I hope you like it.So the work is slowly moving along. Actually we have a lot more investigators here then in Malaga, the only problem is it´s still vacation season and for Spaniards that means 2-4 week vacations. kind of interesting but we still have some really good people we´re teaching. Especially Maria Jose and Rafa and their kids. They are such a great family. The problem is they smoke and don´t really want to quit. Maria Jose told us this week though, that she would go to church, and if she felt the spirit the way she does when the missionaries come, she would quite smoking and be baptized. Well, she did come to church but the spirit was a little dulled by a migraine, nevertheless she did enjoy sacrament meeting a lot, so hopefully she will be able to accept the gospel soon and get baptized. They have 2 kids too, Israel and Desi. Israel is 12 and Desi turns 5 this week. So we´ll see what happens. I love them though. they are by far my favorite family. She is the one who reminds me of Shannon a ton. Oh, speaking of your side of the family, do you think you could email me Nana and papa´s address? I wrote them a letter like a month ago and keep forgetting to ask you for it.. so sad. Thanks.

Well i better run, I love you so so much! You are so awesome!!!I am so glad you had such a good time at camp. You are going to have a great time at education week too i´m sure.
