Emails-Thursday, April 09, 2009

Dad!!!

I just love you so much! thank you so much for the awesome email. I loved it!! You explained the MTC so greatly. I am glad everything went well. I thought of that girl all day. I would look at my clock and tell my companion what you were all probably doing. I told everyone, "My sister is a missionary now". I love her so much!! Bless her heart, she did it. I think that is the hardest part. Saying goodbye. I wondered if she would be the last one to leave like i was. I can´t wait to hear how everything went.

I LOVED CONFERENCE!!! i think it is the best one i have ever heard. Don´t you just love Elder Holland. I LOVED his talk. All of them. They talked a lot about LIVING the gospel didn´t they. I thought that was interesting. It´s not enough to know it´s true, you have to live it. They also talked so much about getting over hard times. and how you can only get through the hard times if you trust in the lord. I hated presidents Monson´s talk. Wasn´t that so sad about the woman who lost her whole family and buried them with a spoon? What was he thinking talking about that. actually I really did I like it. I can´t wait to hear the last session. I heard the priesthood session was 'fuerte' as we´d say it here. In other words, it was intense.

Thanks so much for the leadership advice. I am excited to go study Alma. I just love you so much. You really are the best leader i know. I can´t wait to give you that big hug.Well, I better go. I love you so much. And para que sepas, I got your postcard a couple days ago. I loved it, and I taped it up on the wall. I will be sending you guys one this week too. I love you so much!! Have a great week. Talk to you again in about 4 days. I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!

Love,
Morgan

Dear Mom,

So guess what, I am in my old stoppin' grounds. I am in Sevilla, tomorrow is Zone conference so pday got changed. We told the Hermanas they should go to the Flamenco show so they changed their pday to tonight. we didn´t want to pay to go again because they raised the prices, so we spent the morning with the Elders playing both American and Spanish Football. I loved it. They we ate lunch with the Hermanas. It´s fun because Hermana Lindley is here, and so is Hermana Nicolaisen. It´s like a little reunion.

I loved hearing about Madi going into the mtc. I can´t believe she´s actually there. Did she get any scarves? I am thinking she did. But I found one here that was on sale and really really warm and a hat too. They are black and missionary looking. I was thinking of sending it to her in the MTC. Do you think she could use it? Have you heard anything else about package sending to Chile? I just saw it and had to get it for her. I can´t wait to hear from her. I hope by Monday you will have heard something from her. I bet you will have. I can´t wait to hear how everything went for her. Thanks for sending me that picture. My Kade got so big!!! Everyone got so big!!!! What is happening to my family. I´m not going to recognize anyone. What a cute family I have.

I loved conference this year. It was awesome!!! yes, I did love Elder Holland´s talk. He is the best. I love his talks. All the talks were just great. They were awesome!! I love how they talked so much about actually LIVING the gospel and not just having a testimony that it´s true. We watched conference in the chapel in Cadiz. We didn´t get to see the last session because it didn´t start until 10pm, so I am way excited to get those talks from you guys. How was the last session? Was it as good as the first?

This week something interesting happened. We were on our way to visit a less active member and felt like maybe we shouldn´t yet. we kept going but the feeling wouldn´t leave so we went to go visit an investigator instead...i don´t think I´ve told you this story yet, if i have, i´m sorry....so we get to his house and there is a taxi out front, and this woman with a ton of bags. she is obviously moving and we offered to help. she gratefully accepted our offer. then come to find out, she had been moving from a house not about a 7 minute walk from there, and her husband and her neighbors had been moving all their things by hand. walking up and down the streets over and over again. We told them we knew people who had cars who could help them finish moving and were able to help them move a little that night with our ward mission leader. They are this sweet little family from Bolivia. a young couple with a HUGE 7 month old daughter. Hermana Swenson didn´t believe she was only 7 months for a really long time. IT was so funny. We have passed by a couple more times but haven't been able to teach them yet. But I know we will. I know the lord led us to them. I am so grateful for the guidance of the spirit. I am so excited to teach this little Bolivian family.

Well, I better run. I am so excited to get my package. I can´t believe it´s already Easter again. I remember last year you sent me orange and lemon Hershey kisses and a Cadbury bar and some other candy.

I love H. Lindly. It´s been good to see her again. I Love you all so much. i hope you have had an awesome week. Good job. You got another MTC run under your belt. You´ve had a lot of practice. I love you so much!!!! Have a great weekend and a Happy Easter. I´ll talk to you in about 4 days!!!I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love ,
Morgan
